Experienced Team - Each of our locations is lead by a Site Director who coordinates all clinical activities. They are the liason between the hospital's administration and the program's physicians, responding to issues and needs as they arise.
Program Responsibilities:
Scheduling - To maintain continuity in patient care, we utilize block scheduling maximizing the amount of time a physician works in the hospital througout the patient's stay. Physicians are generally scheduled to work 7 days in a row.
Recruitment - We provide physicians who are board certified or board prepared in Internal Medicine and have the appropriate training for hospitalist medicine, including ACLS certification.
Credentialing - As candidates are identified and express interest, they are carefully referenced, reviewed and screened. We have high standards since we want to develop a lasting relationship with quality hospitalists - it strengthens our program and your patients receive the best care. Prior to commencing work each physician must be approved by the Credentials Committee.
Support Staff - This is made up of personnel on-site at the hospital and in our corporate offices. We are available to our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our administrator on call.
